The Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy’s new waiting room on the fifth floor of the Jackson T. Stephens Spine and Neurosciences Institute was dedicated in January. A plaque was hung in the new Lawhon Waiting Room in tribute to a financial gift given the institute by Noal Lawhon, president of the Delta King Seed Company of McCrory, Ark. The gift was a tribute to Lawhon’s father, Jay (a former MIRT patient), and mother, Lillian.
