Gareth Morgan, M.D., Ph.D., director of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy, was named an Arkansas Research Alliance (ARA) Scholar at a news conference August 27, 2014 at the State Capitol. Read more.

The Castleman Disease Collaborative Network (CDCN) – a global network of physicians, researchers, patients, and loved ones that is accelerating research and treatment for Castleman disease – has launched a new website at www.castlemannetwork.org. Dr. Frits van Rhee has two new publications on Castleman’s Disease:

UAMS WELCOMES Dr. Gareth Morgan as the new Director of the Myeloma Institute. Dr. Morgan joins us from the Institute of Cancer Research in London. Dr. Bart Barlogie, founder of the Myeloma Institute, will continue to see patients and conduct research.
