Robert Lehmberg, M.D. is an Assistant Professor at UAMS specializing in Palliative Care. Dr. Lehmberg was originally trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery and had a successful career in Arkansas within this discipline. He served as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery for UAMS from 1989-1994 and was a member of the hand surgery staff at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) from 1989-1994. From 1998-1999 he served as Chief of Surgery for Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR and was Chairman of the Board for Columbia Doctors Hospital in Little Rock, AR in 1998.
Dr. Lehmberg is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He sees patients in the Palliative Care Clinic at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and consults for the hospital.
