Dr. Laura F. Hutchins is a hematologist and medical oncologist at the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She is also Professor and Division Chair of the Hematology/Oncology Division in the UAMS Department of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Hutchins received her medical degree from UAMS and continued there to complete her internship, residency and fellowship in hematology/oncology. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, Oncology and Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Dr. Hutchins is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Association of Cancer Education and the American Medical Association. She serves on several national committees for ASCO and the Southwest Oncology Group. Dr. Hutchins is the Director of Clinical Research for the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute and holds the Virginia Clinton Kelly Endowed Chair for Clinical Breast Cancer Research.
