Daniel Knight, M.D., is the Chairman for the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, and is also an associate professor on the faculty of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He served as Residency Program Director in the department from 1999 – 2009. Dr. Knight earned his medical degree at UAMS and also completed his residency there, within the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Knight is a fellow of the National Institute for Program Director Development and a member of the Association of Family Practice Residency Directors, the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the American Association of Family Physicians, and the Arkansas Association of Family Physicians.
